Al consumirla, nuestro cuerpo la descompone en glucosa y fructosa para obtener energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Estructura_y_funcion_de_la_sacarosa\"><\/span>Estructura y funci\u00f3n de la sacarosa<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Como hemos comentado anteriormente, la sacarosa est\u00e1 <strong>formada por una mol\u00e9cula de glucosa y una de fructosa<\/strong>, convirti\u00e9ndola en un disac\u00e1rido. Cuando ingieres alimentos con sacarosa, el sistema digestivo rompe ese enlace para liberar glucosa y fructosa, que luego se absorben y se utilizan como fuente de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por ejemplo, si comes una manzana, el az\u00facar que contiene pasa por este proceso para que tu cuerpo obtenga la energ\u00eda que necesita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%C2%BFQue_diferencia_hay_entre_sacarosa_y_azucar\"><\/span>\u00bfQu\u00e9 diferencia hay entre sacarosa y az\u00facar?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Es f\u00e1cil confundir la sacarosa con az\u00facar, pero en realidad, <strong>la sacarosa es un tipo de az\u00facar<\/strong>. Cuando utilizamos el t\u00e9rmino general \u00abAz\u00facar\u00bb nos referimos a diferentes tipos de compuestos dulces, como la glucosa, la fructosa y la sacarosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando hablamos del az\u00facar que encontramos en casa o en los alimentos procesados, generalmente nos referimos a la sacarosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Uso_comercial_de_la_sacarosa\"><\/span>Uso comercial de la sacarosa<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Se utiliza a gran escala en la industria alimentaria para <strong>endulzar, mejorar la textura y la conservaci\u00f3n de ciertos alimentos<\/strong>. Y la encontramos en refrescos, postres, dulces y panader\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por ejemplo, el az\u00facar en las mermeladas no solo las hace dulces, sino que tambi\u00e9n ayuda a que duren m\u00e1s tiempo sin echarse a perder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%C2%BFEs_la_sacarosa_mala_para_la_salud\"><\/span>\u00bfEs la sacarosa mala para la salud?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Su consumo moderado no es perjudicial para la salud. <strong>El problema surge<\/strong> <strong>cuando consumimos demasiados productos procesados<\/strong> que contienen grandes cantidades de az\u00facar a\u00f1adido.
